Everybody has that special song, or many if you're lucky. I shudder to think about someone having a special moment to one of today's hit songs like "Pants On The Ground", but I'm sure it happens, and with a song title like that you know where it could have led.
One of my special songs is "Do You Think I'm Sexy?" by Rod Stewrt. And no, it's not about me being sexy (or not!). But when I was 20 years old I had a girlfriend that had mucho connections in NYC. She had dated Paul Stanley of KISS and her 26 year old girlfriend married a 60 year old multi-millionaire. He lived across from the United Nations, overlooking the East River in a luxurious apartment. He had pictures of himself with The Beatles on the island he owned at the time, Paradise Island in The Bahamas. Well, with all the detail I remember this could become a novel so I'll cut to the chase. My girlfriend wanted to ditch me for the night so she arranged for one of her girlfriends to take me to Studio 54. We waited in line but I guess I didn't pass muster, though the model I was with had been let in many times before. We went to the 2nd hottest club at the time, Xenon, where this girl promptly met a friend and ditched me. So there I was, a little bit shy in those days, watching all these folks having a great time. I finally got up the courage to go out on the dance floor and just started dancing with this really pretty (and sexy) fashion student from the Fashion Institute of Technology. This felt like a real breakthrough for this shy guy and the song playing at the time, "Do You Think I'm Sexy", always brings me back there. What's your special song(s)?

Music migrates through lifetimes
We all have innate talents. Why are some born with great mathematical minds and others explosive creativity? Is it pure coincidence, are do we carry seeds of past lives from one incarnation to the next. I don't personally know of any Mozart's in the current day and age, though I'm sure they exist. But get a load of this 4 year old drummer and you'll see that talent is ageless.
